I think the population of 20 +years ago was more serious and better educated .. today’s population of all ages has little concept as to how countries and economies work.. rather it’s what’s in it for me wrt govt policies

There is something uniquely Scottish about the amount of vandalism and willful fire raising in Scotland..not that it doesn't happen in the rest of the UK but Scotland has a degree of vandalism & lawlessness just not seen through huge swathes of the rest of the country..

This happened in Trumps last term or something similar after an attack on a base in Iraq.. then with some adults in the room and no direct Israeli impact the US showed commendable restraint .. now - no adults in the room ( in fact nutters in the room) and the Israelis are running wild.. so who knows
