When I worked in UK academia I recall hearing of a Japanese man who was baffled at how Britain had decided to run its universities like firms. “Why? Your universities are excellent and your firms are terrible.”

New history of socionics posted! A timeline of some of the most important publications and events in the history of socionics ideas and the Western socionics community. www.sedecology.com/articles/57/...

Much of the terminology in socionics is old and outdated: id, superid, creative/demonstrative/mobilizing functions. Even ethics is arguably worse as a name than feeling. Unfortunately it doesn't seem worth it to change them. Maybe after the semantics are nailed down once and for all.

Feature idea: show a feed from a person's following list, or their follower list.

Great, there's a block button on the timeline now. How about a mute button too? (I usually don't block people)

I'm thankful for socionics. Happy Thanksgiving!

New introduction to socionics posted! www.sedecology.com/articles/24/... For those who don't know, socionics is a personality typology similar to Myers-Briggs (MBTI).

If you're interested in finding your personality type, I offer a socionics interview service: www.sedecology.com/find_my_type

Similarly LLMs are terrible at basic facts about socionics, because there's not a lot out there on it and it gets it confused with MBTI.

Sedecology www.sedecology.com is a social network I made for typology, including socionics, MBTI, and Enneagram. You can type famous people, fictional characters, and people you know.

Socionics is a personality type theory that is derived from Jung's theory like MBTI - do you know your type in socionics?

socionics is real and correct

Any other socionics enthusiasts here?
