UK has a lot of the problems the US has (especially self inflicted brexit wound). Maybe they should be standing off to the side?

Great, now what are you going to do about this?

FWIW, how do we know this isn’t insurance fraud being committed by the company?

It’s a weak ass threat. Steal from people and then expect them to be quiet!? Good luck with that.

The other context is whether a third party builds from grassroots vs top down. I agree top down is unrealistic. But there's nothing stopping Bernie style candidates from running as independents for Congressional seats and using that independence to their advantage.

I think there is some context to be added to discussions around third parties - being State policies towards primaries. I live in a state with open primaries, so I get the benefit of being able to influence which candidate the Dems put forward without being in the party.

My kids - every time we watch a movie together they show how deep their empathy and compassion runs. Today I’m in a sorry/not sorry situation for putting on the animated film “Flow”.

People in their districts should have a rotating presence at their offices. Don’t let them go a day without getting pressure.

YES!! One of my favorite YouTubers! He recently put out a video about the causes of the US Revolution in a broad historical context.

And don’t forget crime - Beantown is one, if not THE safest city in the country!

First the Democrats need to clean house. So far too many of them are collaborators.

I was talking about Markey I thought he was referring to him, not Frost.

I will praise my Rep for voting no, but Jeffries still needs to go. He shouldn't need to be dragged, kicking and screaming, by his caucus who many in turn are being dragged, kicking and screaming, by their constituents. I have not forgotten SOTU performance last week and the censure of Al Green.

Now they can continue to do the right thing and publicly call for Schumer to step down.
comment in response to post
LOL exactly. He's the other Senator from MA.

I don't care. I haven't forgotten the clusterf**k that was the SOTU last week and his "what can we do?" press conference. Both need to go.

Funny thing is Markey doesn't get the press Warren does, but he's been ahead of her on more than one occasion (like No on the cloture).
comment in response to post
Ahem, excuse me, but where is Al Green? Man stood the F**k Up! He deserves a spot on the list!

So all these senators are going to hold town halls? Great!

DNC is not getting one red cent from me until Schumer and Jeffries step down from leadership!!

Tell him he’s a coward. Democrats have one card to play and they’re throwing it away!

How about you do your job and get the party to vote NO on Cloture!! This goes through it's on you!!

Why are Democrats always worrying about Republicans??? WTF don't they worry more about their base? If they want to win they should show they're fighting for the people not the Billionaires!!
