I think that's it for now! Thank you so much for reading! I'll be very happy if I helped a bit, but also I encourage everyone do play with sliders and have fun, every little change can create something unique! If you have any questions, please let me know 🤍

- Rain
If you want to get that glass skin effect, I recommend trying to take pictures when it's raining. You will see drops on Nikki's skin (high settings) and wet effect on her skin and clothes!

- Filters
I won't get into each filter separately since all of them are preference and have their own time and place depending on what you want to achieve.
Instead i'll share my favorite: Graceful Pearl Glow! I use this one very often when I want to make my photos more dreamy!

Here is a small video that showcases the camera settings! 🤍

- Time and Place
This impact the look of your photos the most, location, and as you've seen in this guide, clouds moving in the background impact the final look of each photo! Time is also huge factor, one exit out of the photo mode will change your light! (time used: Dawn, 6am)

- Lighting
80% of time I use Bottom Light, i think it creates the most beautiful shadows but all of them can be very useful in different situations! Side Lights work amazing in group/npc photos!
An example of the same settings we used above but used with different lighting!

- Brightness
I accidentally skipped over this, i had to go into photo mode again and set up everything from the beginning, so i apologize that there is a slight change in pose, angle and time of day! But basically this will depend too, in this case I like it to be darker!

- Vignette
Once again, it depends, it casts dark shadows from the edges of the picture, it can help neutralize and darken the background, but it can also darken Nikki's edges so be mindful of that!

- Soft Light Intensity and Range
These are the sliders that will depend on the world light, place and vibe the most for me, the lower they are the less glowy and sharp the photo will be, the higher they are the more ''dreamy'' it will be. (sometimes it can mess with the quality)

- Highlights and Shadow
Again, this is preference and it will vary, but i like to keep them at distance too, as Highlights will make bright points pop and Shadows will deepen dark points, creating more of a 3D effect, getting away from the flatness!

- Saturation and Natural Saturation
Many of these will be preference and it will vary depending on what i'm trying to do, but i like to keep both in negative as i usually prefer more dull and wax-like look!

- Exposure and Contrast
These two sliders are the main things i always start with, and then I play with the rest until i'm satisfied. I like to keep Exposure on low and Contrast on high, you can see how this already makes a huge difference as it adds depth!

- Graphic Sliders
With the basic out of the way, we get to the fun stuff. I'll reset all the sliders and go step by step with simple explanations!

- Expressions
We can't directly change Nikki's facial expression as of right now, however we can somewhat work around that by pausing different poses at different time. Example, i love taking pictures when her eyes are half closed to give her softer expression!

- Poses
There is a slider under poses that helps you pause, so make sure to use it! While Nikki pauses, so does the movement of her hair/clothes! I suggest try to take photos while the pose is playing out instead of pausing when you want to get some movement!

Don't forget in Camera tab there is also:
- Grid: helps with centering photos
- NPC: hide all npcs
- Eureka: hides all Eurekas you are currently wearing (this doesn't hide Eurekas of others when you are taking group photos as of now but that might change in the future)

- Aperture
Another feature i use a lot, it blurs the background and helps bring the focus to Nikki itself. Make sure not to overdo it, because it can blur the edges of Nikki too much and make the photo look less quality then it actually is!
Aperture f/2 vs f/5.6

- Rotation
Don't forget to play with rotation, it can help you focus on details and see the picture from different perspective, inspire new angles and poses! 90 works great for portraits!

- Focal Length and Zoom in/Out
I personally always take my photos with FL on Max (55mm) and then i adjust with Zoom In/Out how much i want to include in the picture. Simple but it changes a lot!

Once you enter photo mode, remember that you can rotate both the picture and Nikki itself, you don't have to exit to turn her around!

- Camera Modifications
In the photo mode there is Camera Modification feature, doing Photography related quests and Expeditions will give you Upgrade Packs which then you can use to unlock Lighting, Poses and Filters so make sure to do those!

First thing i'd like to mention is that I play on my laptop on all MAX when it comes to graphic settings, as that will impact the look and quality of photos.
Some thing you might want to know: Acer Nitro 5, nVidia GeForce RTX 3070, AMD Cezanne Ryzen 9Octa Core Processor 5900HX.

I'm sure that many of you already know these things because i've seen many of your beautiful photos, but I'm going to go over all the little bits that help me personally and i hope it will help some of you too! If you have any questions by the end of this thread, please do ask!
