Imo, the common denominator in all of this is the 'weak man' desire and NEED to be special; to feel important; to feel relevant. It's why most(?) insecure individuals (bullies, misogynists, racists, etc.) gravitate to oppressive/hateful groups: to obtain priority to force others to not dismiss them.

HOW the targeted groups 'react to' the White/Heterosexual/Male/Christian (WHMC) group's efforts to reign supreme and unopposed atop the totem pole is of little significance to its number. Even if such groups applauded oppression, WHMC group establishing its priority over them remains THE point/goal.
