I recently heard someone refer to the McDonald Trump administration. That has a nice ring to it.

Amanda cited a study on the unemployment rate of various college degrees. She didn’t quote any statistics, but said the government wanted to steer people into “better“ occupations. Having read project 2025, that sent chills through me. The interviewer did not ask what those better occupations were.

But if the interviewer isn’t going to push back on vague or disingenuous answers, it’s a platform for unchecked propaganda.

I understand that I’m bound to have biases. But warnings are coming from people around the world about the perils facing the US if the government thinks they are above the law. I’ve also read Project 2025. I don’t know if the interviewer has read it. I understand the value of unbiased reporting.

I found this comment when I searched for BBC. You say they’re independent, but right now I’m watching two people being interviewed. I don’t know who they are. “Charles and Amanda.” Charles is being more realistic, although he’s sanewashing some things. Amanda is a blatant propagandist.

Just watched @abcworldnews.bsky.social
They dedicated maybe 15 or 20 seconds to it. Showed a photo collage of four cities and said “This comes two weeks after thousands participated in similar protests.” Thousands. They’re still sticking with that narrative. WTF.

That’s NBC (who still is reporting “tens of thousands” of protesters). OP asked about MSNBC.

This can’t be a one and done. There are lots of other ways to get involved.

And yet mainstream media is reporting that “tens of thousands“ protested. Even PBS. Even though they also noted that there were more than 1000 protests across the country.

I’ve called and emailed my representatives but I have no faith in them. I’ve never been an activist, but I can’t sit idly by. I just joined my local Indivisible group to fin out what real actions I can take.

You don’t need to tell us. Tell your colleagues. And then make it happen. Quickly.
