During the initial protest push about Gaza in this area 9 people lost their jobs, from regular workers up to management
I dont say this to deter people, I say it to say there are a few layers here in the states that keep people paralyzed beyond just brute force

Theres a reason why I am so tight lipped about where I am, what i do for a living or even what i look like
There are literally people who have the job of skimming socials looking for employees trash talking the company or having any associations with w.e movements and they will fire you lol

That being said there is always going to be a risk pushing or kicking or punching for change, we just aren't to the point where you push people to have nothing to lose, once that point is hit that's when heads fly.
But until then, if people have something to lose, they'll quietly grumble but accept
