REALLY good point. There is a disturbing trend in a lot of tech where the user is treated more like an animal to wrangle around than an active party who is merely using the technology to empower their own choices.
Preferences are no longer ‘revealed’, they are constructed externally.

This is only because he has accidentally reinvented a handful of precautionary regulations for the completely wrong reasons. He’s like a plague doctor who accidentally made a rudimentary face mask when stuffing herbs in his leather beak to keep the satanic miasmas away.

Remember that nowadays, perception and reality can be entirely divorced from each other in our algorithm and advert infested non-realities. Bank accounts are not ‘expensive’, but they might be in the mental world of young American men.

I genuinely cannot imagine how you got a dish of pasta with sidings to clock in at 1200 calories. 100 grams of pasta is barely 300 cal and that’s a larger portion, plus sauce should not contribute much at a vaguely reasonable dose.
Also, Italians do not drink a full glass of wine with each meal.
