None of the D’s voted to confirm Hegseth, Patel, Kennedy, Gabbard or Vought. Shaheen is up in 2026. Hassen in 2028. Fetterman & Gallego represent battlegrounds. In ‘24 we lost the seats held by Brown,Tester,Manchin,& Casey. In addition to Shaheen, in ‘26 Ossoff is up and MN & MI are open seats.

JB Pritzker, AOC, Sheldon Whitehouse, Brendan Boyle. There are more. As to the confirmation hearings, none of the D votes put any nominee over the top. The R Senate majority had the votes to confirm. They need to be held responsible for their votes & the chaos their loyalty to Trump is causing.

The Democrats were clear about what another Trump presidency would look like. They were correct. The American people chose Trump anyway. They also gave him majorities in the Congress. The minority party has limited powers but here are some D’s to watch: Chris Murphy, Jasmine Crockett, Janet Mills

Do you take issue with either their reporting or the timing of their reporting or is it their use of the word “scoop”?

…and the numbers they are using to justify their tax plan are fake. Trump’s tax plan will increase the national debt by trillions of dollars, cause job losses, increase interest rates and inflation. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202... www.nytimes.com/2025/02/21/u...

We need to bring these facts to the American public.

Trump’s tax cut bill will increase the national debt by trillions of dollars. Jobs will be lost, interest rates & inflation will rise. The fake numbers & the R plan to increase the debt limit to coincide with the tax cut plan are nothing more than a shell game.

Americans also would like to see the national debt addressed. However, they don’t want to be fed fake numbers to achieve that goal. These fake numbers are going to used so that so-called R debt hawks can justify voting for Trump’s tax cut bill. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

Good morning @petebuttigieg.bsky.social Trump’s reliance on these “fake” numbers to justify his proposed tax cuts is an issue that will get people’s attention. Everyone wants the government to run efficiently & to limit waste but they also don’t like being lied to. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/21/u...

Question: did you take some time to read the whole report?
