I stopped buying there products much earlier, after they made "polite people" set. The fact that they made a set of russian soldiers who, without insignia in February 2014 captured key places in Crimea and called the set the way russian propaganda calls them says a lot about the company

I've never used Kimera paints. I usually paint with ICM and Vallejo, but I'll try your recipe with paints of these brands

Thank you for your advice. There are even some more pinkish light skin colours in Vallejo range and I also wanted to try them for highlights. I just wanted a quick and simple recipe for skin for game miniatures from this set, so I wouldn't mix a lot each time I paint a separate warrior

The authors of Saga couldn't even quote Leo the Deacon's description of Sviatoslav marking him a bald guy with a beard. Even if historians debate on how to interpret Leo's words, Sviatoslav had 1 or 2 locks of hair and mustache maybe with a short beard. The figure shows his traditional appearance

More errors in Saga: they claim Novgorod controlled the Dnieper (its source is 300km away) and even have an obvious misprint when they mentioned Oleg instead of Sviatoslav!

I've read about Pagan Rus in Saga and there were so many mistakes! They associate Rus with russia, but Rus was a multiethnic state with its center in northern Ukraine. They treat Rurik as a historical figure, though many historians think he's just a legend
