Love having to sit in Waiting Mode™ for a DWP appointment, only for them to reschedule it at the last minute. Without telling me when they rescheduled it to, of course. Every interaction with them as an AuDHD person feels like some sort of sanity test designed to make me as anxious as possible

[violent death] The “we must eradicate the cause of autism” rhetoric is not new, and has killed and will kill autistic and other neurodivergent people. On January 31st, less than three months ago, a 5yo boy was burned alive in a hyperbaric chamber that he was in to “treat” his ADHD.

I'm #intersex. Born with 2 DSDs & ambiguous genitalia. I was treated as a girl by my mother for my first three years until doctors intervened and told her that I was a boy. My parents accepted their authority and agreed to have me surgically 'repaired'. I've known doctors like this all my life 🧵
