Draw the idea, then sit on it for a day or two before sharing. Sample the headspace.

I ignored my OCD by abusing blend tools and I feel really good about it!
Going forward I want to do this style more but really focus on simplicity. A lot less time blending. I need to relearn my shapes/shading.

Anyway, my next piece I'm working on is actually trying to be me. Rer has been a big part of me figuring out how I want to be seen, so while it will look like her, it won't be her. It will be me.
I've also been doing a lot of experimentation so some if my future stuff may be different.

Tried a new way of shaping, less reliance on linework, so this took much longer than usual, even for such basic characters. I like how it turned out and the practice helped a lot. 🩵

I'm honestly pretty proud of this one. Mostly because it was a monster in my head that once I started working on, wasn't so bad. Definitely see areas to improve and I will probably revisit this later, but I'm happy with it for now. 🩵
