Trump will win the war, but Musk can win a lot of battles in the meantime. Rallying twitter in a chant

Musk has the money to fund enough opposition that would impeach and remove. It's purely a matter of will at this point.

Can we get a 'Bad JVL' summary of the fallout of the Trump v Musk catfight. I really want to revel in the moment.

The dems should be lining up to get money out of Elon with the promise of impeachment and removal of Trump. Gotta get him on board now while the emotions are running hot.

Fixing, yes. But once an AI bot is trained in a task the programming will be uploaded nationwide.

I actually love how genuine a person you are on your podcasts, Tim. Keep going with the mantra of not being 'fake outraged' about things you aren't passionate about.

Cutting health care and food stamps is wrong.
But that isn't the last word: now the bill heads to the Senate. Our nation is at its best when we stand up for those in need and for what is right. It’s time to remind our Senators why Americans are against this cruelty, and demand they do better.

It boggles the mind how any boomer who spent their childhood underneath their desks could ever place a shred of trust in the Russians.

If he wanted nothing to do with solving international affairs, he should not have run for president. Period. Why Dems are not pointing this out and hanging the failed negotiations around his neck is beyond me. He rallied to withhold aid and the blood of dead civilians is on his hands.

You can dislike what I have to say, but now your obvious rudeness is clear. What did you hope to gain by initiating a months' old conversation? Were you trying to 'own a lib'? You failed catastrophically and are now lashing out. That is quantifiable behavior.

There's no mind to be made up in the literal definition of words, so you in fact can keep telling yourself that words have no meaning. If you took the time to be more proactive in your efforts to not be rude, then you would simply not get banned. You should also proofread your posts.

Being impolite or ill-mannered are not subjective, they are a behavioral pattern, documentable, and are therefore not subjective. Rules, guidelines, and order exist for a reason. To try to invalidate the definition of a word is to undermine the meaning of a good-faith discussion.

That's not what I am saying at all; you are making assumptions and projecting a narrative that I never made. The original post was about taking actions against rudeness. If the other posters were rude as well, then action should be taken against them.

No, it is not. Being impolite or ill-mannered is not subjective.

And the price hikes will be more than enough to compensate the tariffs, because of price gouging.

So politics has become a game of name recognition. What a sad state we have become.

They don't care about having an authoritarian in office as long as it's*their* authoritarian.

I worry that the dems will automatically assume that disapproval for Trump is automatically approval for them. They need to rebrand and motivate people to get out and vote by having good policies or else they will just stay home.
