BLS shows cumulative food inflation from 2020 to 2023 was 24.9%, and that's not counting 2019 or 2024. So IDK how you're getting your Thanksgiving numbers.

Also wage growth relative to inflation was negative for almost 2 years of Biden's presidency (starting Jan '21).

Yes they can.
Gov't payrolls account account for most of the new jobs created & national debt is rising parabolically. The gov't took on debt to boost jobs numbers and mitigate inflation.
Also, stocks are up. Your portfolio might look good, but the economy ain't strong.
