Any player going there is practically going only for the money. But you only hear that being said for United players.

The length of the contract affects PSR and value of the player. Essentially what they pay for the player is divided by the length of the contract. That reduces the yearly valuation that goes into PSR calculation and at the same time keeps future valuation high. Practically "hands off"

I just hope the players take it seriously. It's meant to be a test of who stays and who goes. But from what they've done all season I don't know if any one of them even cares.
