There is a very specific demographic for this joke, and I'm happy to be part of that.

I've gotta Anne when people have just heard my name. I've also gotten Andy, Yan, Ewan, and Dan. I always tell folks that I was supposed to be named Christian, but my parents wanted a shorter name, so they split it in half but figured the Christ half was a bit presumptuous.

There was a big German population here! Eventually more Irish and Polish folks moved in, but the German food has remained very popular, there are even multiple places that offer beef on weck pizza, or even beef on weck pierogi! And yeah, most of us are pretty upset about that other thing... 😕

There are worse things than being an Ian. Said as an Ian.

In my region of New York State (Buffalo), we're known for our chicken wings, but to me, it's our beef on weck sandwiches. Roast beef with horseradish on a kimmelweck roll ( roll with salt and caraway seeds on top) with au jus. That with a side of pickle and fries is what home tastes like to me.

I'd like to recommend the video game Tacoma. You play as an investigator searching an abandoned space station to see what happened to the crew, watching recording via augmented reality of their last few days on the station. It's really fun, and quite beautiful too.

Maybe the real eve6 coin is the friends we made along the way.

I pre-ordered it and I can't wait! Yes, the original is preferred, but being able to play any cartridge, on my newer TV, with wireless controllers made it a must have for me.

And I genuinely like the Galileo 8 that I got to game on my phone, it's really nicely made. I guess, because I'm a nobody online, noone accuses me of being a sponsored bot or anything.

It's so sad that everything is so monetized that an innocent recommendation is viewed with suspicion.

Fair enough. I just liked being able to handle it myself.

That's a really good analogy, and perspective.

I always tell expectant parents "ask for advice, but also be confident enough to disregard it."

My wife and I did that, but in shifts. So, the baby went to sleep and I sent her to bed while I puttered. After she woke up, then I'd sleep next time the baby went to sleep. It worked until he stopped napping at 18 months old... 🥱

Comix Zone and Dragon Age: The Veilguard. That'd be pretty rad.

I've never been there but I assume it's nice. The folks I've meet from there always seem like a long lost tribe of people asking about the wonders of the outside world. "You're from Buffalo? That sounds like a magical place!" "It's nice except for the potholes in the roads." "You have roads?"

In my interactions with people from Delaware, it's more likely that they're just excited to meet someone not from Delaware, since so few people intentionally travel to Delaware. 😁

Wolfenstein, Doom, Space Goose, Battle Chess, Secret Agent, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure... That's all I can remember playing as a kid at the moment.

7th Guest was one of my favourite games growing up, and Myst (I'm counting it try and stop me) is one of my favourite gaming experiences. For a long time, my buddy and I wanted to start a game studio and do just FMV games with our actor friends, but life happened, so that never did.

He was dealing with a multitude of injuries and issues by the time he finally won the title, then had to deal with Brawl Out after he came back. He spent much of his time helping establish others, but when he returns now, I'd assume he'll be positioned as a big star on his own.

5 Kanyon vs 5 Mortis... Hell, what's the plural ofortis? Morti? Mortises?

Alex Wright, CW Anderson, Hayabusa, Kanyon, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Buff Bagwell, Arn Anderson, Jerry Lynn, Raven, and Mongo. OK, that's going to be one of the first things I do when the game comes out.

Either Megaman or Contra. I was not good at either, and still suck at those games but they are special because of the memories I have of playing them with my cousins.

The Invincible was such a wonderful experience, and Deliver Us the Moon is a great puzzler. Been meaning to get Fort Solis for awhile now, but I think nows the time.

I've been slowly going through my X account to find folks on other platforms that I follow there. Its just so toxic, and so many bots that there's just no benefit to being there. It's a shame, I've had an account since 2010, but the value was lost long ago.
