This seems...bad.

But they're being countered by a flood of videos showing the human toll: crying children, angry protests, families ripped apart. And in the middle, "people just end up getting angrier and angrier." Inside the social media war over deportations: wapo.st/4l2fK2A

Same problem. Fulop has good policy ideas but he burned through his money like there was no tomorrow (concerning). Baraka is a fighter but I doubt he can grab independents. Sherrill is a bit more conservative than I care for but she is well set up, support/money to fight the general. Tough choice.

Also local traffic. Miss that.

I previously used twitter for local news, EMS announcements, for example. Those local sources left Twitter very early on in Musk's enshitification. I didn't leave Twitter (well I did), Twitter left me. I'm happy here at Bluesky. Customize your feeds & you see what interests you. Works for me.

Where's the opinion piece talking about all the Nazis on twitter? I'm happy here on BlueSky, thanks for your concern (trolling). Move on please.

He should get a promotion instead. Very sad that ABC News is throwing it's own under the bus for the crime of telling the truth.

Punished, no. Shunned, yes. Nasty little twat.

I believe the student intended the emails to be harassment, both in form and function. Any given responses were sure to be used in a larger forum to get the teachers fired. This is not ok.

Right? It's maddening.

Voters want to be promised a taste of their enemies' blood from a chalice of skulls. Oftentimes their enemy is manufactured for them.

Yes. Russia saw that and appropriated it. Made it stronger, deadlier and crazier.

It's not that simple. "There" might be the FB chat for your mahjong group or a slack group for old car collectors. Russia used/funded the NRA for years to do this. (NRA used to be a simple gun safety group before it was infiltrated and used as a right wing persuasion tool)

Many have been trying but propaganda/lies are much easier to sell than facts. It took the GOP 50 years and lots of foreign money to build what they have now. It's going to be hard to recreate that in a shorter period of time, but we need to do it.
