You really are one of those Americans. You think being rude will make you right, not actual facts, Google 86 like I asked you to do before. You believe you are the center of the universe that every person on any social media is American, we are not.

It doesnāt mean end. Google it. There are many theories, one is from the prohibition, some say soda jerks but these days itās always used in the hospitality industry. If someone is cut off they are 86ed.

Exactly. He makes is sound like the deficit is the rest of the worlds fault. It just says that the US buys more. At the moment very few countries want to sell or buy anything because of him. We can trade with each other, who is he going to buy all that from?

Yes, because the us buys more than anyone else. Look up those nrs instead. You canāt force us to buy more from you when we donāt need it.

I lived in the US for 10 years and the health care was scary. I have a friend that had a baby stay at the neonatal icu for a day, the delivery and ambulance to the hospital. It cost them $300 000!!?! The quality of care in Norden is higher too. They deserve much more in the US, itās so unfairš
comment in response to

The US imports a lot of food as well, about 50% of fruits/vegetables and that was before you lost your farm workers. The US imports more than any country in the world, by far, and you are half the population of Europe and China got over 4 times more people then the US but the US still imports more.

We do pay a little for meds too!
About the same max as the cost of care. It doesnāt matter if you stay at the ICU or if itās a reg doc visit. My nephew just had a son born week 28 and they had to stay at the hospital for months, same max.
comment in response to

Swede here, we pay a small amount 100kr ($9)for reg doc visit or 300kr ($27) for specialist if we go to the doc or hospital but a max of about 1500kr ( about $ 130-140) per year. We donāt pay any kind of insurance at all. And we got 18 months maternity and paternity leave too.

Strangely enough, weapons are a big export for Sweden as well. A country that was supposed to be neutral until just last yearš

Yes! Huge on movies, tv shows and music!
I admit I do prefer American entertainment much more than Swedish even though we do got quite a few famous producers, musicians actors from such a little country, itās just to dark and heavy for me!š
I do love tv from the UK but the US is nr 1 for me!

I had some nitwit tell me that America will stop selling us food if we donāt behaveā¦.we donāt really buy any. Some candy, fast food restaurants. But people in America seriously believe that we will not make it without the Us, and the US imports much more than anyone else, no matter population

I have seen sooo many people on fb saying itās pointless and that they canāt fight anymore?!
After 3 months?!
I keep telling them to join Bluesky for some support and feeling of hope.
Giving up isnt an option! We are not doing all of this out here to help you, for you guys giving up on yourself!

Yes, protests have to be done in the right way and as much as possible, donāt have too many poc in the protests, that will just give the racist a-holes a reason to attack, blame BLM, gangs and every other excuse they can find.š

The hardest thing is to see so many Americans loose hope, especially ones thats not on BlueSky. So many on fb have given up and it has only been 3 months!! It feels a whole hell of a lot longer but people canāt give up after 3 monthsš

And the flaws will become to obvious, they cant gaslight away not having enough products in the store, being able to import or export anything. Not being able to run the existing factories, absolutely not able to build new because the lack of materials!
They can not gaslight all that.

I donāt have faith in much but I do have faith in that the American people will demand change. The rich will try to protect their interests but that doesnāt mean that they will succeed. Sure they will still be rich but pay their part. I really do believe in a revolution. People will have experienced

I do believe this will lead to a change in the system.
America has had enough, the people that voted on trump just because they were angry at the system have definitely noticed that this isnāt the way. I believe people will demand leaders that works for the people. A system closer to Europe.
comment in response to

It is a majorly flawed system, we saw where it was heading over 20 years ago and thatās why we left the US. My husband was a teacher to so he saw what was happening with the education and how the rich got richer and the poor, poorer.
Hopefully this will lead to a much needed change in the system.

on exports so in the end of June the nrs from the first rounds of tariffs, besides Canada, will be visible.
So you donāt have it in black on white yet, so no major warning bells except for the owners of major stores speaking up, stock market, dollar, treasury bonds, and booked vacations.

Goldman Sachs keep raising the amount the boycotts will cost the US. This was the first but that doesnāt even cover the loss of tourism. They have posted higher estimates but we will not really know until the end of may when the 1st from beginning of boycott comes out but it keeps building, 3 m delay

is in trouble when it comes to imports and exports. He will need to change strategy now or he is in trouble. So this is the time to protest massively!!! The house, senate, SCOTUS and major businesses will have to listen if the US are running out of everything, or at least, a lot of what they need.

My point is it only works to a certain point. When the entire world is shutting you out, no import, export, buying stocks and no investment in treasury when the market crashes. Itās quite the opposite actually, countries are getting rid of their treasury bonds, the US owes a lot!
