Is this guy for real? I made a comment on there. Never attacked him though, otherwise my comment wouldn't be allowed. psyche.co/ideas/what-r...

1/2 I don't think human beings will become extinct, at least not for many thousands of years. However, the escalating population, climate change, insects disappearing, rain-forests getting smaller ...

I don't really care much about economic growth, I care about the planet. I wouldn't feel differently if I were ultra wealthy. But most people, regardless of their wealth, don't appear to care about the climate crisis. www.independent.co.uk/voices/refor...

Hunter gatherer societies didn't require children to attend indoctrination mills, they didn't demand most of us do meaningless repetitious work helping the rich to become even richer, and scarcely anyone ever got depressed.

I think our existence and the existence of all things is ultimately mysterious, beyond what the human mind is capable of fathoming. I'm comfortable with that. It makes life and all things exciting, mysterious, full of endless possibilities, full of promise.

I find it weird that I am existing right now, having thoughts. It seems almost surreal, as if I'm in some strange dream. If this is the only life there is, why do I find myself inexplicable in existence? Or if I existed before this life, where was I and doing what?

Only watched "the twilight zone" and "lost" out of all them (but not all of lost). I have also watched 1 episode of stranger things and 1 episode of the last of us. Nothing else at all.

A new blog post be me. No crappy AI generated stuff here! #paranormal #psi #skepticism ian-wardell.blogspot.com/2025/02/why-...

I think there is some ult reason for our existence. Having said that, I do not pretend to know what such a reason might be. Possibly ... nay … even *likely* the reason for our existence, the existence of everything, is beyond our ken. For it seems to me that we live in the midst of profound mystery

No humans will go to Mars and back any time in the near future. It is too difficult, too expensive, and ultimately without much point. www.theguardian.com/us-news/vide...

I find it baffling the extreme hostility towards anyone raising awareness about climate change both from the general public & authorities. This is why I think not enough will be done & climate change will proceed unabated, & we'll all reap the consequences. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

1. Ever since I can remember I’ve always been drawn to what might be termed the ultimate questions. What, if anything, is the purpose of my existence, of all our existences? What, if anything, is the purpose of the Universe?

The modern world seems to be devoid of such geniuses like Leibniz and his contemporary Newton. Who do we have now that is remotely comparable? No one that I can think of! www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...

The current figures are roughly correct, although I'm not sure about the 2012 figures. It is a disgrace beyond all measure that certain individuals are so wealthy. A decisive indictment of free market capitalism.

Well said, and I agree that one has to take a stand. We increasingly live in a world where we are not permitted to express what we think.

1³+2³+3³+4³+5³+6³+7³+8³+9³ = 2025 (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9)² = 2025

Out of the 7 Narnia books I liked the Magician's Nephew the most. The idea of this place where you can get to other worlds by leaping into the appropriate pool was extremely appealing to me (and still is). And the chaos Jadis (the future "white witch") caused in our world was exciting.

I think Smart glasses will eventually become utterly huge. Maybe comparable to smart phones.

Isn't it weird having a body? A bag of bones an' blood an' stuff seemingly existing independently of our minds. Why do we have bodies rather than existing in a disembodied state, or at least why not have bodies that are an emanation of our underlying psyche? Perhaps we will in some afterlife realm

It just took me slightly less than 3 mins to peel 600g of potatoes, cut them up into chips (aka fries) and place in a pan of water.

It won't allow me to post this on Facebook. It deleted the link saying: "It looks like you tried to get likes, follows, shares or video views in a misleading way". Misleading? A special hotline is not being considered?
