I try to tell myself I'm important, that my life matters as much as anyone's, but I know it isn't true. I'm just a nobody with nothing to offer anyone and if I was gone it wouldn't change a single thing. My job could replace me with anyone. My friends have been drifting anyway. My art means nothing.

finishing aqua regia finally and it's a bit bittersweet. on the one hand, i think this is some of my best writing and i'm really proud of it. on the other hand, i think it's in an intersection of being so niche that no one is ever going to read it. it's been up for almost a year and no one has yet.
