うちの辺りは温暖な気候なのだけれど、珍しくこんなの出ました(華氏)。表のパンジー鉢は屋根下に避難、サザンカにはビニールを被せる。裏庭のチューリップ(2インチくらい発芽中)とパンジー鉢もビニール被せて壁近くに移動。テラコッタ鉢が一番壁近くで、風が吹きつける外回りはプラ鉢。唯一カバーしてないのは水仙。他の多年草鉢は納屋へ。また電気代の高い月になるなぁ😞

朝のニュースで水曜日に雪が降ると言う。うちの辺りは2月の降雪はたまにあるようなのだけれど、今朝の予報では10インチという。うちの辺りでこれだけの降雪自体が珍しいし、しかも2月中旬。5インチくらいに減ってくれればいいなぁ、と願っているのだけれど。あ、ちょっと買い出しをしておかないと。
