Happening to watch a high-speed chase video while I wind down to get to bed way too late & here's my thoughts: We need better assets/strategies to terminate the overland chase early to reduce the risks to bystanders. If you got their license plate? Stop chasing & lie in wait at their home.

It is not a "nearly impossible standard" to tell parents not to physically or sexually abuse their children. That's not even "the bare minimum". You have to have failed long before you get to "physical or sexual abuse" of your children.

The first premise of the Kalam Cosmological Argument is most honestly framed as follows: "Everything within the universe which begins to exist has a cause within the universe". Once you actually frame the first premise honestly, the faults of the argument are that much more obvious.

This was literally what Harris did for the last months of her 2024 run for president. It killed her campaign. Centrist/undecided voters do not make up a significant faction that can swing elections anymore. This is logic that died in 2008. Either you turn out your base or you lose.
