It's like, yes, would I have instead cut 3~5m for a montage, or travel excursion, reflecting on their community? As it is that lack thereof of connective tissue that makes a pivotal fight hit ineffectively. But it rly wouldn't be them without the γ©γγ©γγ©γγ©γ from every audiovisual angle.

Not that it necessarily does that consistently, ofc: The same aspect of exuberant coloration and SFX runs in parallel to a script which is unduly repetitive, and could do so much more with less.
Yet it's for this reason I respect them, among others? It is in such a IDable GH way.

It doesn't do the "food porn" of its food aspect right, but I wouldn't even call that the function or form? (Beyond the too solid CGI) It is, pardon the rote standby, "about the girls" as it were. The focus on their SD forms, or their personae, emphasize that to me.

GoHands has always traded in excess and ultrabright vibrancies of life; that's one of the reason I felt SukiMega was a shite show (aside from the src not even rising to 'functional romcom' levels, for one), and one of the reasons this is not, in that it leans into that.

This is SUCH a vibe. Even before it really gets creative, it strikes such a neat mood, it's like consciously lost with nowhere to go, I can dig that. Some of the imagery towards the end is esp. fun.
