From one Missouri Democrat to another, Jess, you are a voice of sanity and inspiration in our red mess of a state. I honor your strength and proudly follow you.

We are a rare breed! I’m loving getting to know this instrument again. I’m taking it slow, relearning and doing lots of practice with a cool 70 year old lady teacher. Two old ladies geeking out to the saxophone! Sounds like you’d fit in with us!

You are so kind to send this. Thank you. I have a recent osteoporosis dx, so I’m very aware of posture, weight bearing exercise etc and a have a sturdy harness. I am working out to make sure I can handle the weight. My teacher-she’s 70!—is watching out for me too. I will be very careful. 🎷🙏

That’s exactly my story. I didn’t own/couldn’t afford it but now I can. I missed it so very much. I hope the time comes when you can get one. It took awhile to find one & didnt want to buy off the Internet. Wanted to hold it & find someone who could repair it. I found exactly the right situation.

I love the sound and versatility of the bari. Same can be said for other saxes of course, but I was hooked as soon as I made a sound out of it as a young teen. I was a powerful player and loved the lowest notes. It was rare for a girl to play/march when I was young and that uniqueness was cool.

Amen. I am willing and I have lost them....Not concerned about it at all. It is the right and only thing to do.

Nothing better than Gordon, Harry, Jim & Stan. You’re doing this parenting thing right! I did the same for my 30-something aged kids. They tell me they can’t stand music of their generation. 60s & 70s/oldies all the way. I love to get in their cars, turn on the radio & see what they listen to.

It's a big one, that's for sure, and heavier than I remember! Nah, I knew it was a beast and that's why I love it!

Yes! I was in quartets too, jazz bands, loved marching and pep bands… I’d play anywhere and anytime. Loved it so. There seems to be more Bari music than years ago but yes, not a lot. I’m on the hunt!

$5100 new, hard case with wheels (so great!) a sturdy instrument stand, neck strap, Rico 2.5 reeds and mouthpiece-(not sure of brand at the moment). I think the music store guy treated me well. I’m very happy with this Eastman. He is a Bari player and highly recommended this for my situation.

I just bought a Bari Sax for Christmas! I hadn't touched a Bari for 50 years until about a week ago when I got this Eastman. Eureka! I can still play! I need to do a lot of work to be anywhere near as good as I was in high school, but I'm on my way. There's no holding this 66-year-old lady back!

I’m with you…I’m relearning the Bari too, after 50 years. It is the BEST! Good luck to you and hit those 2025 goals!

I specifically looked for these in my little town library, 3 blocks from my house. Yes I was a book nerd. Still am!
