The person who registered the 71st & Memorial event has stated that that they aren’t interested in working to combine the two. We did ask.

We’re not involved with the 71st & Memorial event at all (we did reach out though) and we’ve put a lot of time, work, and $$ into the one at Dream Keepers Park. I think Tulsa has enough people and energy for two good events!

Mobilize would not let us schedule a second event for Tulsa on their site. We’re ok with that and we’re going to have a great event at the park!

Yes, there are two. We were working to reserve our site when Indivisible had a national call and stated that Oklahoma was the only state with no events scheduled. A person not connected with our group jumped in and scheduled the one at 71st & Memorial. /1

I led an Indivisible meeting in Tulsa, Oklahoma tonight. 150+ very upset people, standing room only. The biggest problem we’re having is organizing the volunteers who are breaking down the doors demanding to be put to work. You may not have heard about us but we’re out here working our asses off.
