Where do I report ICE? The LAPD? The National Guard? The Marines?

That'd be a great way to make an entire community throw hands.

I called in sick to work one day to attend the regular weekly protest, and it was entirely retirees, plus one young person with a pro-Palestine flag and a bullhorn. The positive reactions from drivers were mostly women, as well as men with daughters in the car.

Sounds like engagement bait, but could very well be someone who's literally only watched the Stipe trilogy.

I'm looking forward to Saturday.

Yeah, it seems sorta obvious that it's the people who have the time who are doing it. Everyone contributes what they can. I called in one day to join one of the old people protests, and while I'm glad I did, I can't do it every week, and I don't think the revolution is hinging on that.

I do understand that, I just misunderstood what Faine was addressing.

It's almost entirely retirees protesting during the week around here 🤷‍♂️

I see. I misunderstood what you were saying. I thought you meant they identified as liberals as a choice, not just because it's the only word they have for not being a Republican.

I do that, but a lot of people don't. I'm not sure what you're driving at, because we aren't talking about voting, we're talking about how people identify politically.

It took me a long, long time to understand that. It's happened in stages. I watched Tammy Baldwin send weapons to Israel, and was somehow still surprised that she won't defend immigrants now. Maybe they're libs now, but I think a lot of them are gonna learn and grow.

Sure, but how many of them identify that way because they believe untrue things about liberal leaders? How many believe that liberal Democrats actually care about Gaza, immigrants, and trans people, but just can't advocate for them because of Republicans or politics or whatever?

I've barely begun to look into the candidates, but the two other declared ones look much more promising. Here's Laura Benjamin: www.laurabenjaminforcongress.com

Look at her website. It doesn't even mention what's happening with ICE or with trans rights. This is a joke. cookeforwisconsin.com/en/

I'm not into supernatural stuff, but I'm always looking for excuses, so I might have to make an exception

I hope not. This is our only way out.
