It's fine and fun to dunk on SpaceX when their rockets blow up, but I also feel like we need to remember that even if the rockets stop blowing up the whole point of building them is so Elon can send people to Mars, and there is nothing on Mars, no water, it's freezing, and no one can live there.

The Paradox of Tolerance disappears if you look at tolerance, NOT as a moral standard, but as a social contract. If someone does not abide by the terms of the contract, they are not covered by it. In other words, the intolerant aren't deserving of your tolerance.

My thanks to our friends who have expressed concern over alarming news reports. However, Los Angeles is NOT a “war zone.” Protests in LA have been peaceful, except for isolated events that were deliberately provoked by the Federal government and amplified by irresponsible media.
