That episode was written by the great D.C. Fontana. Star Trek: The Animated Series was so much more than a cartoon.

And this is why Comcast and Warner are spinning off their cable channels. Add to this the broadcasters’ ATSC 3 debacle and the future of linear TV looks dim.

A disgusting, dishonest, disgraceful orange colored dirigible. No compassion, no concern, no class.

Paramount’s ‘1923’ episodes usually ran just under an hour but the series finale came in at 1 hour and 52 minutes. We can hope for SNW to get the same treatment. Maybe even a couple of longer episodes in its final season. 🤞🖖

Earth's not there. At least, not the Earth we know. We're totally alone…

Watch ‘Strange New Worlds’, Season 1, Episode 1. U.S. very much had a role in the cause of WW 3.

Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations. Roddenberry was ahead of his time in championing diversity in Star Trek. When representation in Hollywood was limited, he made bold casting choices that reflected his vision of a future where humanity had moved beyond racial and gender barriers. 🖖

Percy Rodriguez played Commodore Stone in Star Trek and appeared in ‘Genesis II’, a 1973 made-for-TV film written by Gene Roddenberry. He played the role of Primus Kimbridge in the movie, which was intended as a pilot for a television series that was never produced, sorry to say.

They took an oath to defend and protect our country from enemies foreign and domestic. But when the domestic enemies have political and economic power we are placed in great danger. Get involved. Resist, protest and call out the Republicans for what they are, destroyers of our republic.

The entire Republican Party is full of Nazi quislings. The Democrats need a majority in the house and Senate to have any chance of pulling the U.S. back from the brink of fascism. The job of the resistance is to make this happen. Don’t give up. Just remember the phrase, “I have friends all over.”

Yes, and I’d posit human brains are more susceptible than bugs, given our increased complexity. As Scotty said about the Excelsior, "The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain."

Camping on Talos IV is the definition of roughing it, but the views are fantastic. And who doesn’t like the singing plants?

It’s a constant battle between a Star Trek future and dystopia. Why so many people choose the path to ruin is an aspect of human nature I don’t understand.

No doubt the Horta was best. But Amanda did a good job raising her son. And even though she was, ‘sick to death with logic’, loved her husband.
