News in Australia is mostly run by foreign interests. Whether it’s Rupert or Lachlan (Fox/Sky News), it’s corporate media furthering corporate interests.
Same with Seven West (billionaire-owned) and Nine Entertainment (shareholders), their purpose is the same: corporate influence.

The fact they included Frydenburg is hilarious. He lost his seat in 2022 and is now the chairman of Goldman Sachs’ Australian business. Very preferential.

It depends what that means in the modern media environment. Murdoch’s family will suffer financial consequences eventually but I suspect diminished influence will teach them the ultimate lesson.
