Yeah, there are scenes in that book that I’ll never be able to forget. Blood Meridian is more beautifully written, but it is unimaginably more brutal than The Road. It’s one of the best books I’ve ever read, but I don’t reread it often. It’s pretty hard knowing what’s coming.
