This is exactly right. What we are seeing is the “Insane Trump Premium” being demanded by investors for Treasuries. His next move could be default on the US debt = Treasuries. He won’t honor his own trade agreement he made in his 1st term. The “No President Would Ever Do That” guardrail is gone.

I think Dems should consider doing hearings of their own outside of Congress. Rent hotel ballrooms, bring our own witnesses, make our big arguments, get stuff on the record. Early topics - illegal/unconstitutional disassembly of US govt, Trump selling out to Putin, his reckless econ policies.
