We can do better.

Does anyone have good data on how many of US small businesses primarily sourcing in China exist? I’m guessing there must be > 50,000 US small businesses doing this, because it has become relatively easy to do. It could be far more. Every one of these small businesses is at risk of failure.

The good news for real antisemites is that the US govt welcomes them. The US govt is going after people who object to genocide in Gaza & criticize the govt of Israel. Immigration: Do you hate Jews? A: Yes! I: Come on in! I: Do you hate the genocide in Gaza? A: Yes! I: We’re gonna interrogate you!

And why would people sell Treasuries at a massive clip? I’m guessing Trump’s insane moves have investors thinking “what other crazy sh*t is this guy going to do & is he going to default on US Treasuries?” Clearly the sensible thing to do is what Monty Python recommended: “Run away! Run away!”

(3) Get SCOTUS to decide that “let the people decide” is an argument that trumps the 22nd amendment. SCOTUS decided that the 14th Amendment banning insurrectionists from running didn’t apply, even though Trump had been found to be an insurrectionist by a court in Colorado.

All of these can be true: 1. A small contingent of Gaza protestors have antisemitic views. 2. The protests overall are driven by opposition to mass murder, not antisemitism. 3. Conservatives are using "campus antisemitism" as a cudgel to imprison protestors & delegitimize universities

ROBERTS: “I gave him immunity & now he thinks he’s above the law!👀 Let’s be clear. His lawbreaking is just FINE. But he can’t ignore court decisions, because that would undermine OUR power at SCOTUS! He should stop worrying & let us reverse the lower court decisions. It’s much cleaner that way.”

Half of Columbia University’s anti semitism problem is violent Zionists attacking pro Palestinian Jewish students who protest genocide. Jewish students make up about 30% of the anti-genocide movement around the country. They are horrified at what Israel is doing in the name of Judaism.

Ukraine should announce it will be ready to implement a ceasefire in a month or two, after it finishes destroying most of Russia’s oil refining and transport infrastructure. And after it takes down a few famous buildings in the Kremlin, with Ukraine’s new long range drones.

I’ve never heard of this gang before. It seems unlikely that ICE happened to have a stash of hundreds of “gang members” on hand to deport in a PR move. Yes, there were probably a couple of gang members among the deportees. Mostly they were probably just brown. I call bullshit. I call bullshit.

It’s clear that Schumer’s definition of anti-semitism = criticism of Israel. What a disappointing “leader” for this moment.

Does anyone else suspect that these were not mostly gang members? Probably a lot of people who were brown and therefore “must be gang members”. ICE is too incompetent to have a stash of hundreds of gang members to suddenly deport. I call Kabuki theatre.

A better conspiracy theory is that Trump set up a fake attempt, and Trump was assured he wouldn’t be hurt because the marksman was terrible. Trump is too stupid to realize that a terrible marksman trying to miss Trump closely… …might accidentally hit Trump!

And it’s a scam to divert some federal dollars into crypto, even though there’s an ongoing deficit and crypto is speculative backed by nothing at all. Might as well be the Dutch government investing in tulips.

This. The tariffs are a massive extortion racket for Trump, which explains his eagerness to impose them. One thing is clear, the stated reasons for the tariffs have nothing to do with this decision, and there will be no progress on them regardless of what happens to the tariffs.

Trump has now admitted he lied about trans people being an important concern, that he lied about being able to end the Russian invasion of Ukraine in one day, and that he lied about being able to reduce grocery prices. Most of the central arguments of his campaign, he’s already flip-flopped.
