Just tell them it's for chess.

I just don't see why these people obsess over teenagers when people in their 30s are like RIGHT THERE.

Well luckily I still have some adorable froggy ice packs from other surgical procedures.

OK fuck all this nasal congestion and then drainage. Pain zero. pressure from sinuses deciding to overload, more than I ever want.
comment in response to post
Oh for sure. But it's gonna be worth it.

Just got home from my turbinate work and thus is some weird feels as the anesthesia is wearing off.

If Ruth's Chris can do it why not Michael's Joann?

So you are saying they think they can get the father, mother and brother into prison labor slavery for the cost of one court case? Because that's the only goal I can see out of tying any of this back to the kids family. :/

Your iron game is strong. I've never been that straight in my life, in any sense of the term.

If only their definition of life didn't include qualifications about worth as a person. But I guess that requires both an empathy AND one compassion.

As they say in Mario Golf, Nice On.

The Stupor Bowl if you will.

I am currently lamenting that the handknit weighted blankets use a stitch that I don't like. (I'm not a fan of the look of the purl side of the stockinette stitch)

Yeah this is prescription grade schadenfreude, not the stuff you get on the street. And like I always say, if you can't make your own, store bought is fine.

Oh we had French fries they were a hit.

I am so here for that comeback.

Is there ever a right evening to look at the Internet?

You have a fabulous boyfriend and have abandoned those ways as you no longer need them. (But also what even is going on right now, does anyone smell toast?)
comment in response to post
I'd bet they do that on their own once the ticket goes below 100.

Especially when he was destroying them when they WERE subsidized.

I adopted my greyhound at 18 months and even that was a lesson in "never again" so many super lengthy walks and 3am potty requirements. I went through a really bad set of the puppy blues too and thankfully my girlfriend at the time helped me through that because Magnolia is fabulous.

Yeah it makes basically perfect sense. You internalize so much of that it's silly.

Meh. I'm a dude. if I'm not in a suit, and I have an off silhouette l and I don't care, nobody cares.
comment in response to post
thank you, I hope you have an easy recovery. I didn't know why I al.ost made it to 40 before I actually realized that I can't breathe properly. Spent all this time knowing I don't think like everyone else, but couldn't shift it over to other things :/

ALSO, POCKETS. And they fit my phone and wallet and keys. (but can be a little dubious and want to drop things if overloaded)

Thanks! Made it myself.

Nah I was just raised cheap and always try to think about what McDonald's I have at home instead of getting McDonald's. And due to the overstocking/overbuying general use items thing I often have what I need for a lot of things.
comment in response to post
OK but like, what if skirt instead?
comment in response to post
Much like you, I have a greyhound, and because of that I have way more first aid things in the house for wounds and the like than I ever would have normally. And I buy in bulk for stuff like that so I probably have 50 spare rolls of gauze sitting around and tefla pads for years.

OK good to know!! Also, I need that tape but to be conductive because I'm tired of gels for vagus nerve stimulation.
comment in response to post
Well, maybe, but probably not? I'm getting a turbinate reduction and some work to help keep my nostrils open when I inhale.
comment in response to post
Oh no, that might be me as of this weekend oof...

Right from the jar? With your fingers?

Same on all accounts really.

If this means we are getting 2 more p38s I'm 100% OK with this.

Yeah the part where you can purchase your exact seat in advance really killed the ability for them to advertise to a captive audience that had to arrive early if they wanted a good angle with their friends. That multiple start time list is a good idea, I don't even want to see the trailers really.
comment in response to post
I will say though that I remember movie theaters trying something that was nicknamed "the thirty" where they stretched the 20 minutes of trailers into 30 minutes by padding them with TV commercials back in the early 2000s, it reduced ticket sales so quickly it did not last long.

I mean... Yeah. While I could make my own fucbucket for "popcorn" at home why would I when I can get one themed for my newest favorite release that I don't have to spend and time, effort, or materials on. It's just good sense.
comment in response to post
Yeah from some locales it's just amazing. In others, there is uhhh, a lot of room to grow in availability.
comment in response to post
I hope your future anger about it subsides. Not because it's bad, or slow but because it's just not available for most people more than 1-2, a day for cities. Or you have to travel to Chicago to get to Kentucky from Dallas. Or that it's more expensive than flying in some cities :/

Oh sure, not without significant changes to what it means to be human in the first place. Which I don't believe we should pursue. And the only version of 100% automation of elder care that could exist in my lifetime has a movie about its process from the early 70s. I wish they would monger elsewhere

It's so weird that people are freaking out about birth rates. Like it's not a good thing or a bad thing it's just a thing. The fact that we have tied our economic system to a requirement that the birth rate is always positive is the bad thing. That's taking out loans in our kids/grandkids names.

Mapsco. Which, apparently is a DFW thing that I thought was more widely available that it actually was.

I mean they probably also know who Lesley is and just don't want to screw up a first impression. (I know I would have if I had known of them before I met them)
comment in response to post
l don't think so. I was into Mac hall and megatokoyo though.
comment in response to post
I haven't thought about mac hall in forever. That was one of the best. I can't tell you how many days I checked it waiting for more comics that never came. Until I realized the meta nature.

What is this On time? I'm calling bullshit. Literally everything else I can believe.
