This is a worrying sign for future US operations if the rift with European allies grows out of control. Europe is the logistical hub for every adjacent theater in which the US operates. The US presence in the Mid East and Africa is dependent on supplies, airspace, and nautical access to Europe.

If you are disappointed and shocked at US leadership in Europe unraveling in real-time in an obscene confluence of idiocy, conceit, and corruption just wait a few years when an even more senile President does the same thing in the Pacific when China makes its move.

One of Hitler's favorite tactics was to invite leaders he wanted to dominate to personally meet him and then ambush them with insults and wild demands such as with the Austrian Chancellor before forcing the Anschluss. Schuschnigg's own words:

The Texas National Guard put up a photo of their 'deputization ceremony' last week that pretty much includes the full text of the Memorandum of Understanding b/t CBP and Natl Guard which the deputized guardsmen were made to sign. There are some interesting details and even one soldier's PII 🤦‍♂️..

Says it all really, the age of US international leadership is dead and buried.

This is the most extraordinary part of this story. The capability that these drones bring by operating in Mexican airspace is the ability to hoover up any geolocate any cell phone or radio signals from specific individuals the CIA wishes to target or surveil. Not something you can do with CBP MQ-9s.

7th fleet officers in awe of 6th fleet somehow managing to outdo them by crashing the carrier. I would expect the captain will be fired for this.

Patch on one of the pilots looks like vaq-135 but is slightly too blurry to be sure.

You would be hard-pressed to find a government agency not subscribed to @politico.com Pro, a quick search shows State, Interior, Commerce, Ag, Transportation, Interior, Defense, HHS, and even the White House have contracts for Politico Pro subscriptions among many other offices and agencies.

One of the 79th Rescue Squadron's HC-130J's (KING71) is up right now over the Utah Test and Training Range performing downed pilot rescue training missions. Another aircraft, a civilian Cessna T303, N412BP, which has been modified to conduct ISR missions seems to be participating or observing.

Great work as usual from Samir

It has never been more over for the Twitter Navalist bros who have deluded themselves for years into believing the US and its Navy would go to war with the PLA to protect Taiwan.

The woke leftists are going to defund the military-industrial complex and cut army manpower by 75%! Oh wait that's not some dream cooked up by Bernie Sanders that's the current wishlist of the Trump admin. 😂

They are really cooking by placing an alcoholic rapist in charge of a military that is already struggling to retain and recruit service members. Women have been propping up the declining numbers of recruits for years now. This is like putting up a sign saying you will not be safe working here.

First ACARS message I've seen explicitly referencing deportees on this C-17 flight (RCH139) was sent to the pilots: "PLEASE CALL 281-230-4600 CUSTOMS AT KIAH WITH LAST NAMES OF PERSONNEL ON BOARD AND DOB TO QUICKEN PROCESSING" The number is for the CBP office at Bush Intl Airport in Houston.

Geolocation of an F-15E Strike Eagle combat patrol at an 'undisclosed location' in CENTCOM's AOR from earlier this month. The refueling photo was taken in NW Iraq near the Syrian border. (36.187548°, 42.166635°)

The climate at this agencies is going to be so toxic and resentful that this admin is going to reach new heights in unhappy analysts leaking dirty laundry to the press.

The Air Force is looking to buy an S-400 engagement radar as a target asset for testing and training... I wonder who might have one for sale 🤔

Xi Jingping watching America's political leadership shit their pants when a bill they passed to limit CCP data collection and influence over Americans has to actually be enforced. Schumer and the rest of the geriatrics in his caucus can't even deal with an idiot like Trump much less China.

Only one ship name I respect

Nobody wanted this.

US Air Force C-17A Globemaster III AE1236 as RCH460 was en route to Ramstein AB, Germany from Dover AFB, DE when it encountered an emergency, it would seem, necessitating their diversion to JB McGuire, NJ. Messages from tbg.airframes.io h/t: @intelwalrus.bsky.social

I think people should consider that incoming Pres Trump's seemingly deranged rhetoric around Greenland and Panama is not simply random but is a reflection of his own personal way of measuring prestige in a strongman style of government. 1/2

Geolocation of two US Navy E-18G growlers conducting a combat patrol over an 'undisclosed location' over CENTCOM's AOR in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. The photograph was taken over the western Iraqi desert near the Jordanian border. (32.997682°, 39.513023°)

Geolocation of recent joint Royal Air Force/USAF 'Yellow Sands' air defense exercise conducted in CENTCOM's AOR. Two RAF Eurofighter Typhoons and a USAF F-15E Strike Eagle were photographed at an 'undisclosed location' over Eastern Jordan as part of the exercise. (32.389263°, 38.412661°)

Congress last week when people saw planes landing at Newark after dark: We demand a classified briefing to explain these mysterious aircraft!! 😡 Congress this week when the US's primary adversary in military aviation technology displays two mysterious combat aircraft: Zzzz.. 😴

Platform Aerospace VA001 ultra long endurance UAV with callsign GZMO16 flying out of Al Udeid AB, QA. This is the first time I've seen N616VU, and the first time I can recall seeing a Vanilla Unmanned drone in Qatar. #ADSB #A806F6

Whole strike group going to be River City for a hot minute.

Somebody getting fired for that one

I would like to compare the sites being chosen for TFRs with an overall visualization of energy infrastructure in the area. Just from a quick comparison to some open-source data, it looks like most of the substations chosen seem to be major intersections for power transmission cables.

Geolocation of B-52H weapons range training at an 'undisclosed location' in CENTCOMs AOR. The B-52H, Serial 60-0007, carried a payload of at least 6 JDAM bombs which were used at a bomb range south of Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan on Dec 4th. (31.558820°, 36.776021°)

SOCCENT, CENTCOMs special operation command wants to order a dozen DJI brand thermal cameras for the associated Matrice 300 drones they apparently possess. Chinese DJI drones are banned for govt purchase as a cybersecurity threat but there are some exceptions for DoD units..

Geolocation of an Air Force Pararescueman free-fall parachute jump at an 'undisclosed location' in CENTCOM's AOR. The PJs jumped from an HC-130J Combat King II on December 7th over Central Jordan ~10 km from Muwaffaq Salti Air Base where the 71st RQS is deployed. (31.748757°, 36.838996°)

Wide-Scale Drone Flight Ban Prompted By Energy Infrastructure Vulnerability Concerns In New Jersey The threat to power infrastructure from drones has grown in recent years but little action has been taken to mitigate it. Latest: www.twz.com/air/wide-sca...

I would guess that a reason power substations make up most of the locations for these anti-drone TFR's in NJ is that in 2020 a DJI drone was used in an attempted attack on a substation. I geolocated that incident to Hershey's corporate office in PA from the DHS slides made available at the time.

Geolocation of an F-15E Strike Eagle mission over an 'undisclosed location' in CENTCOM's AOR. Photo dated December 13th was taken in the same OP Area over Western Iraq commonly used for refueling by the USAF. (33.469208°, 40.121727°)

Stupid dumbasses of all political stripes taking up the cause of wasting government money, time, and resources on investigating planes in the sky.

Geolocation of recent 'low and slow' combat air patrol of two USAF A-10 Thunderbolt IIs at an 'undisclosed location' in CENTCOM's AOR. The photo was taken on the 15th of December over Sinjar in Northern Iraq near the Syrian border. (36.288470°, 41.896579°)
