I guess I forgot to post this yesterday, but I got treated on the subway to an R179 on the diamond F yesterday. Does this mean I have good luck?

fact check: since congestion pricing started, subway crime is down 36%.

If New York is forced to remove congestion pricing, they should respond by putting a toll on every bridge entering Manhattan with significant increases for those using the Hudson River crossings from NJ.

The MTA has already filed to stop the feds from baselessly and illegally pulling congestion pricing approvals.

Statement from MTA Chair and CEO Janno Lieber regarding legal filing to continue benefits of the congestion pricing program: www.mta.info/press-releas...

This is huge: the MTA just filed a suit against Sean Duffy (Metropolitan Transportation Authority v. Duffy), and notably, in the filing, said they will continue Congestion Pricing as it currently stands while the legal challenge plays out

This is actually great news as it brings the fare back down to something similar to what we pay in the city.

Interesting Google maps now suggests #subway options of you choose to drive to the #congestionzone.

“New York City’s congestion pricing, which began this month, might already be one of the most effective climate policies ever enacted in the United States.”

NY Post hastes congestion pricing so much they’d rather promote drunk driving in retaliation. This is one of the worst news organizations in the entire city.

RIP TikTok. It should’ve been Twitter

The #tiktok ban has started and it’s the worst feeling ever, I still can’t believe it’s happening.

Don’t tell the NY Post prices are going down thanks to congestion pricing.

In my opinion the deal gave them too much, but it was a great deal, and the fact they turned it down is probably infuriating for NJT riders. Now NJT remains underfunded and won’t see additional investment from either NJ or NY to accommodate the influx of transit riders.

I’ve had a few congestion pricing supporters scold me for sharing positive early data from congestion pricing, but that mindset is exactly why we are losing the information war. If we silence ourselves until we have perfect data, right wingers will fill the void with deranged misinformation
