Sometimes living in Missoula makes you feel left out of things and other times you just get really lucky that you’re in the right place at the right time - Me after scoring a couple of these bad boys #dropout #makesomenoise www.reddit.com/r/dropout/s/...

🚨TONIGHT! The season 3 finale of Make Some Noise launches on Dropout at 7pm ET / 4pm PT! Starring host @samreich.bsky.social, and guests - The Noise Boys: 📢 @joshruben.bsky.social 📢 Zac Oyama 📢 @brennanleemulligan.bsky.social #MakeSomeNoise

It may feel hopeless right now, but there are actual, concrete ways you can fight back against what's happening in our government. Watch the full video on YouTube: No one is coming to save us. youtu.be/By1Z1nk31iE

Remember this: Tyranny cannot prevail over people who refuse to succumb to it.

“You can enjoy your vacation when we can enjoy our democracy” Couldn’t have said it better myself.

🧵 PIH condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the Trump Administration's mass termination of United States Government grants and contracts supporting essential health care delivery and humanitarian assistance around the world. Here’s what you need to know—and how you can take action 👇

History teaches us that when governments begin persecuting a vulnerable minority group while simultaneously making it harder for members of that group to escape persecution by fleeing abroad... it doesn't end well for anyone. www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/politic...

Not to get too personal but I’ve really been feeling this way for a while now: Fuck Donald Trump

This is gonna be a banger

🪳Tonight, on an all-new episode of Very Important People - David Hoyle Jr. (@paulftompkins.bsky.social) joins @vicmmic.bsky.social for an important convo on life above ground as a midnight louse.

Just finished an entire bag of Costco salad in one sitting and I have the same misplaced sense of both pride and disgust as when I ate an entire Little Caesar’s Pizza Like, there’s no way I was supposed to eat the Whole Thing but guess what I did it

Still nerding out about these little guys. High-key obsessed.

TONIGHT! an all-new episode of make some noise featuring veteran @ZacOyama with hilarious Yeti cohorts @thatdevinfield and @LongwellV, a charmingly animated imperfect produce minigame, and perhaps my favorite prompt of the season. DON’T MISS! 👀

Took me way too long to remember that I performed an arrangement of Defying Gravity 6 years ago with Patrice Tipoki who was THE Australian Elphaba We recorded a concert with her but she didn’t release Defying Gravity with the EP The EP is on Spotify tho open.spotify.com/track/2SW13n...

I’ll admit I’ve never seen Wicked live but I just watched the movie and…just wow. I can’t believe I’d been missing out for all this time. For some reason I also feel significantly gayer than before (in a good way)

This is a good lineup. Voltron is the standout ride they were missing before, but the top 5 collectively make it one of the strongest lineups. It does kinda drop off from there, but I’m not one to complain about more coasters. Factor in the theming and this park is 2nd only to Phantasialand for me.

I should be in bed but I needed to get this over with finally. Top 10 has been disrupted. Skyrush dethroned from Bronze.

Brand new sentence for me tonight: “spunk rag is the WORST thing you can call a deer” no I will not elaborate

ANNOUNCING!!! I HAVE JOINED THE TOP SECRET SMARTYPANTS SOCIETY! variety.com/2024/tv/news...

Still waiting to see the damage Europa Park has done to my rankings because holy shit is it an amazing park

For the last 24 years I’ve been working on my answer song “The Boy Visiting Ipanema (An Ipanema Girl’s Perspective)” but I can’t crack it and have to admit defeat as I never made it past the title

I feel obligated to post from the air because I’m using 1 of my 4 annual complimentary full-flight inflight wifi sessions courtesy of T-Mobile (it’s nearly December I’ve been on 40+ flights this year and this is the first flight I’ve deemed “worth” using one of these sessions on)

On the one hand it’s kinda crazy to do a 4-day trip halfway around the world but on the other hand YOLO

3 top 20 disrupters (Pipeline is not a new cred but rose the ranks) just from my Orlando trip this week! Longtime bucket list coaster Manta, excellently themed new concept Guardians, and the absolute delight that is Pipeline: The Surf Coaster #rollercoaster

I’m being 100% genuine, Pipeline at Seaworld Orlando is a top 20 ride

Got block checked on my first Guardians ride (Epcot) right before the last launch. Audio played until the end then just went silent. When the ride picked back up it kept silent, and the lighting effects didn’t sync up Luckily they gave us a reride; That ride deserves to be experienced as a whole.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind [Epcot, WDW Orlando] - excellent ride! The spinning creates a unique and special coaster experience, but the theming, lighting, and music really prove that “fun” isn’t limited to just the ride forces. Jury’s still out I think it will rank high for me

My coworker is literally best friends with the head of IAAPA and knows all the inner workings. Apparently the guy that designs the pins is a super enthusiast. Yeah… (I think this is incredible btw)

Maybe it’s just that I’m a mega-nerd when it comes to this industry but IAAPA week feels a lot like an adult summer camp

Controversial Opinion: IATA gave Denver International Airport the perfectly reasonable and logical code “DEN” and anyone that calls it “DIA” is just being petty and confusing

Just over a year ago I opted to revisit SFGAdv rather than grab a bunch of new creds at Dorney. I had a feeling my 8 rides on Ka that day might be my last, but had no idea how quickly that would turn out to be true. I made the right call that day—this was a top 5 ride for me, and she will be missed.

I’m on both Xwitter and Threads but never really latched on to posting very often. Probably naive to think that’ll change, but I feel like I have enough stupid-ass thoughts to word vomit onto a platform like this, so maybe this one will actually stick. We’ll have to wait and see.
