thinking about this again. do you know the hopkinsville goblins? that's what I think of. this one looks like a pretty high level individual

I'm so tired of seeing it. especially because nobody who's in the target audience for "they won't stop at just trans people" actually believes themselves to be in real danger anyway. they're all just waiting on midterms, or for the right court ruling that will just make it all go back to normal

pussy that turn the whole forest red. k-19 the widowmaker type pussy. detectable levels of cesium in wild boars hundreds of miles away from that pussy

I'm out of touch so I might not know. how many unrelated boys is it normal to keep around when you're a billionaire ceo, and you're not like, the billionaire ceo of being a football coach or a schoolteacher or something

i'm more sympathetic than most when it comes to aging losers wanting to somehow reclaim their childhood, but when I think about this guys whole deal I just think about how many <23 guys he apparently is friends with on twitter? like that's weird right? why does he have so many boys in proximity

😭 no... is it at least funny now? looking back at my last abusive relationship, so much stuff that was apocalyptic when it happened is honestly so ridiculous to think about today

appreciate the positive sentiment, but like. being trans isn't a kind of sex act. I don't understand what people are thinking of when they try to express support in these terms

the goal with a law like this is primarily to intimidate trans people out of participation in public life, the same as past bathroom bills elsewhere. doesn't matter that there's no enforcement mechanism, this was brought up and the bill passed anyway. it does what it's supposed to
comment in response to post
there's a state law forbidding universities, whether public or private, from using bathrooms that don't correspond with their assigned sex at birth, and i guess we're seeing them adopt the same response to obviously unenforceable nonsense that a lot are doing: "that's ok, we'll do it anyway"

accepting someone's apology and moving on has literally never given me the same rush as venting my fury at someone I'm convinced is a source of evil in the world, though. so basically you're telling me you want me to feel bad. Which is a form of harassment i think 🤔

i'm sorry. I hope you're able to be as safe as you can be. I know that doesn't really mean much coming from an internet stranger, but I do mean it

religious sects. I feel like my own bad experiences with religion are really tame compared to a lot of people I've run into.

unless she detransitioned. she was the angriest person I'd ever met, constantly on a hair trigger and seemingly looking to pick fights. over time I came to understand her better, years after I graduated and figured out I was trans too. I think a lot of trans people have history with really scary

that's fucking crazy. I'm sorry you were in that situation, but I'm glad you got away from it. I knew a girl when I was in college, my first offline trans friend, whose family was in some kind of extremist christian sect, and super bigoted. they were threatening to stop paying for her education

oh shit?? that doesn't sound good

the legacy of the kind of game where you just roll up a random character you don't care about, name them Dirk Shitpuncher and laugh when they die at level 2 has always seemed totally antithetical to roleplaying as I understand it, but there's still more of that left in 5e than i want

did anyone ever tell you that you're so smart and wise

gotta think some percentage of this is groyper kids listing their gender as "nonbinary/other" as a joke. i'm just gonna tell myself that, anyway

it's like some greek tragedy shit that there's so much cool stuff a person could do with a billion dollars but the kind of person you have to be to obtain a billion dollars guarantees that you'd never do it

don't want to hear about small penis humiliation anymore, small penis praise is where the real innovators are working

i could get more enjoyment out of the prospect of DoD imploding if I wasn't so sure all those being fired are gonna be replaced by 19 year old twitter mutuals of elon musk who would happily follow orders to drone strike ottawa after they refuse to trade oil for high fructose corn syrup

love how f/go even starts feminizing the rest of the round table too. puppygirl sir gareth?yep. dog (not puppy) girl gawain? you bet, and she's huge, too. transfem dragongirl lancelot? girl tristan as a vampire with a mommy fixation? I'm being pandered to directly

journalism as a profession in the US has basically been in freefall for 30+ years and positions at prestigious outlets like the NYT now often have more to do with who you know than what (if anything) you know

genuinely i would rather go back to most people not having a clue. I'd rather have to explain I'm not an eccentric crossdressing gay man than argue I'm not a child predator for using a public bathroom

if we make demands they'll say no. we have to wait for the Rules & Norms to kick in. maybe point out how they're doing stuff they said they were against, so they'll be so embarrassed that they knock it off

I do think it's possible to do better than to just layer some off-brand dharma on top of the sedimentary layers of existing misconceptions. I don't, though, know how you do that without running afoul of "secularism" (which in practice usually just means invisible christianity).

don't get me wrong, it's much better than nothing, but when i interact with people I definitely get the sense that the needle has not moved at all when it comes to getting people beyond a dualistic, black and white way of seeing the world, even if they can manage it in some narrow contexts, and
