Does this userland ROP work on the Switch 1?
comment in response to post
Yup, fixed it eventually
comment in response to post
This has got to be the sequel to Tank Man
comment in response to post
At a first glance this UI looks exactly the same as the Switch 1

How much did it cost to hold a phone connection at the time? I can't imagine it was, y'know, free..

the part about "your family needling you" about relationships is so real... heck, mine even needle me about alcohol consumption! (I tend to avoid drinking, but some relatives went on about how like alcohol is popular in corporate culture or whatever)

this might be a hot take but i dont think either of them are worse than ai scrapers effectively ddosing websites

Also, github.com/isledecomp/i... , github.com/n64decomp, and the SMB1-3 and SMW disassemblies

If you intend to make one you should add mine github.com/ReMinecraftP...

TIL that Nintendo has been writing Katakana above Kanji characters since forever, not just with the Switch

Unironically I actually use IDA for debugging (mostly resolving the context around an address)

Why are you using Instagram?

Sorry journalists, but you should be encouraging donations or making money in other ways, rather than annoying your readers to pay.

also the BIT instruction copies bits 7 and 6 of the memory operand into bits 7 (C) and 6 (V) of the status byte! also LLVM-MOS exists which I think is so cool!!
comment in response to post
you don't need to remember all 56 instructions. also working with pointers is *painful* because you need to dereference them from memory every single time AND you have to sacrifice an index register by setting it to zero. also chances are low that you will ever need the "lda (PTR, x)" instruction

I don't know!

Ukraine is managing just fine not killing Russian civilians. Why can't Hamas do the same? Genuine question
comment in response to post
That makes sense.
comment in response to post
Just to add: if you think that the Israel-Palestine war is clear cut black & white "Palestine good Israel bad", then you're naive. Israel is worse here and I support a free Palestine but Hamas should not be breaking international conventions by holding civilians hostage. Be better than the aggressor
comment in response to post
Were there any attacks from Israel immediately before 7.10.2023 but after they started negotiating peace?
comment in response to post
So you mean Hamas isn't a terrorist organization? You know, the ones who did October 7th? (I am not an Israel apologist, I'm just confused)
comment in response to post
Why are you cutting off the last ETHERNET_HEADER_SIZE bytes of your ARP packet
comment in response to post
I'd accept minimum wage for a start but not fucking free!
comment in response to post
But what is the cost?

btw as a coincidence that's the emulator I ported to my OS! and I also contributed a sound fix to it as well

> A - North Button (Y on Xbox Controller) > B - East Button (B on Xbox Controller) This control scheme is a *crime*. If anything it should be "X" for run and "A" for jump (using Xbox controller notation)

In an ideal world the Palestinians would NOT be censored and the scammers would, but I don't think there is a feasible way to tell really, because you can just use a VPN in a Middle Eastern region and be "close enough" to Palestine that it would go through anyway
comment in response to post
Palestinian fundraisers are being censored by Bluesky, it's true. But why? Because you can't actually know that they're Palestinian without significant effort. And there are A LOT of scammers abusing the war on Gaza and people's kindness to gain a quick buck. This is why we can't have nice things.

If GTA 6 is more than $60 I think it'll become one of the most pirated games ever

United you stand, divided you fall, so the saying goes if I remember correctly.

Wait, you can't enable the thing that allows you to install APKs anymore?!

Horrifyingly realistic. I mean you can still tell some things are off, like that man's hammer changing shape, but you have to look real close and it does fool you...
