debunked by Snopes, but... I entirely understand why people won't want to fly to the US for a once in a lifetime sporting event at the expense of thousands of dollars just to be denied entry due to a vexatious, punitive, spiteful regime.
And TBH, If FIFA do move it = I support that entirely.

all art is subjective tho ;-)
and Dylan has written some utter bilge - I find Lou not so much meandering, as much as arcane . Concept albums about 18th century germanic song cycles, strike me as pretentious for its own sake. (Though by no means representative of his work as a whole)

The use of the instruments of state to settle personal scores and perceived slights - "government by vendetta" indeed.
The only reason trump ever ran was to get revenge on being humiliated at the Correspondents dinner by a black man who was president; Trump's racism is well documented.

BRAVO to that wordplay on mid 80's dylan song titles there.
HM is an album where, for all its promise, it feels that The Groom’s Still Waiting at the Altar....
As for Lou and Dylan, some of their lyrics are genius - and some self-indulgent twaddle....

You can make a OK 40 minute LP out of other tracks such as Love The Way You Love Me / Attitude / Golden Gun and some of the other non-Lp stuff from the time. But the hit to *hit ratio on ANM is not good.

I certainly think you can make a good 45 min LP out of HeadMusic (Can't Get Enough / Electricity / She's In fasion / Savoir Faire / Since you went away / He's Gone / Elephant Man / Everythign Will Flow to start)
and an Ok 40 minute LP out of ANM. (Starting with Beautiful Loser / Obsessions).

That said, a lot of Head Music just merges into one as a lot of the songs by about track 8 just seems very very samey. Same can be said about A New Morning.

I think Elephant Man is .... well, of all the Suede Songs, that is one of them.
its knowingly simplistic. But no matter how dumb the lyrics are, the "she lives in a house / shes as dumb as a mouse" couplet makes dylan's Wiggle Wiggle seems like a work of genius.

Head Music is an interesting album - very clinical, very cold, and with all the songs in the wrong order and one song too long. (since you went away should easily been on the album).
But i've grown to love it.
Still can't get my head around a new morning. And yes, good find that!

it seems beyond madness to me that there doesn't seem to be any way to avoid it. There surely is, but thats not up to me alone.

Many abandon cognitive reasoning instead to replace it with something else... that which feeds into their fears.
"Emotion informs reality" (or what people perceive to be reality), and it is prevalent. Esp in older people and their right wing xenophobia & transphobia.
Hoping for a better world me

Being a man is not a sin.
Using your undeserved power granted to you by proximity to traditional masculinity against the vulnerable absolutely is.
But these are not the same. And we must be extremely clear about this distinction. Especially if we want cis men to engage meaningfully.

By comparison, TFA cost $447m, TROS $415 ie $862m for 5 hours = $172m per hour.
Six times the price on a per hour basis. yes, its expensive, but its quite economical by comparison to the movie budgets (esp look at Electric State ; netflix funded it @ $320m for 128 minutes!)

24 episodes (ie approx 22 hours of live action) @ $650m = $30m an hour or so. Lots of huge practical sets too - ie the Ghorman set was 500ft long, and the Ferrix set the same size, plus they built a full size Tie Avenger built+transported....

so did I. But Kyle Katarn was from Dark Forces, i got the two games mixed up! (I much preferred Dark Forces tbh... I still have it on Cd somewhere so I must see if it still works)

Kyle Katarn is from Dark Forces, not shadows. my bad.

Soz JJ Abrams. You're busted for having stolen an archtype almost down to the last detail from a Star Wars video game. No wonder TFA felt like it wasn't doing anything fresh.
And before mentioning the recovered lightsaber the character uses....
