perhaps naively, i think not giving credit is a symptom of imposter syndrome this sort of thing eats away at you… if you think you have to have all the answers or figure it all out alone, simply not true the act of researching and quoting other writers is an act of community

Yes! This!! There’s so much social pressure to react immediately… it’s a dangerous habit because often the most extreme, flattened views are the quickest to speak & easiest to parrot.
