Happy New Year! (my cartoon for @newscientist.bsky.social)

What are your New Year goals? Next year I aim to spend less time on empty pursuits and do more of the things that make me feel good - reading, writing, sewing, growing, walking, cooking, movie-going. In essence, I’ll be filling up my creative pot ✨ #thiscreativelife

After so much sadness around the loss of our lovely Len, I’d like to celebrate old Charlie here, freshly bathed and dressed in festive finery on the eve of his 17th Christmas ❤️

A solo walk to West Bay, Dorset ✨

We said goodbye to our beloved Len this week, and we’ve been touched by all the messages we’ve had from folks who loved him too, including teachers & parents who knew him through his work as a Pets as Therapy ‘Reading Dog’. Here he is ready for a shift with the local school. Good work little fella 🤎
