Remember when there was an organization of dedicated people called NASA that was able (even before all that computer power available today) to send people into space, build a space station, land people on the moon and even had a regular space shuttle service? But musk privatization ended that.

So this country is afraid of independent thinkers rather than easily to indoctrinate ones for its own political purpose! Anyone still even remembers the school of the Americas ?

AI, Datacenters, bitcoin mining all but have absorbed the advances made with renewable energy and energy reduction eg homes. The required energy now includes reopening e.g. Three Mile Island Nuclear Station. AI is consuming millions of gallons of drinking water. e360.yale.edu/features/art...

Sad is that „we“ neutered NASA (able to bring people into space, building a space station, landing them on the moon and bringing them back to earth) and privatized space exploration to a greedy drugged up nut who recklessly blows up his mars fantasies paid for with our tax dollars!

Everything Musk touches explodes, just like our entire system of government after he bought it and rigged the election.

Old enough to remember that when our tax dollars went into NASA rockets brought people into space, built a space station, landed them on the moon and returned them to earth. By now it should be clear that privatization of the space program under the leadership of a drugged up Musk was a mistake.

No Surprise there: Schooling showed you How to think (to research critically) not What to think. AI is aimed to make the majority of humans empty husks besides consuming enormous amounts of energy. In addition www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Playing ignorant and thriving on chaos & destruction. seriously: can anyone name a single item (outside his own benefit) that indicates planning/building something, anything for the common good? During the last administration not a week passed without announcements of bridge/rail or airport projects

No doubt: the volume of cardboard boxes that contained online or pickup goodies and typically piled outside on our recycling pickup days has dramatically decreased, some neighbors even seem to be skipping every other week

It’s also totally disrespectful to the ancient culture but so typical for someone who considers everything outside of his corrupt hotel resorts a “shithole”.

There is a scene in Band of Brothers where the advancing Americans passing columns and columns of the defeated German Wehrmacht … their depicted walk is most reminiscent of what we saw … Trump broke their spirit, took their pride.

Madness of war … so much science and money wasted on mutual destruction! How many schools, parks, hospitals, solar plants, reforestation programs could be financed with this; when will we humans start rejecting politicians arguing for mutual destruction?
