It's not exactly what I envisioned, but I think I like it. I wanted there to be flame / lava under my Junith. I used green stuff's splash gel for the effect. It's actually kind of hard to get a good picture of because it's so bright. It almost literally glows.

The Guardian is reporting that Trump is openly violating a court order, and has transferred multiple transgender women to men's facilities. We know in Florida, transgender women are having their hair shorn, feminine items confiscated, and pulled off medication. This is inhumane and illegal.

Still thinking about this quote from a writer at NYT who said she "can't quite say [Trump's attacks on trans people are] exactly consequential, since so few lives are materially affected." There are an estimated 1.3 million trans adults in the U.S. That's equal to the population of Dallas, TX.

I started playing Stalker 2 on November 20th, 2024. I finished today. 3+ months and 205.7 hours. Around 300 deaths. 9,678 screenshots, of which 93 were of the black and white portraits found in various game locations. 34 artifacts and 3 altered objects collected. Truly a masterpiece. Thank you GSC.

Ok, so I'm obviously not the first person to discover this, but, like, my enthusiasm is verging on stroke level. I wanted to do this water effect a year ago when I built this model, but I just found the stuff to do it. It took like 30 minutes and looks awesome! Yay! I'm doing fire next.

It's not a great photo. My light box is just too small for the wings for one thing. Whatever. I finished the termagants / ripper swarm finally. It's my first painting project of the year and also the first I've finished since Stalker 2 came out. My hive tyrant is no longer lonely.
