I would guess intel & aid flow will at least partly resume in coming days. But plausible some restrictions on long-range strikes will remain. And damage is done. Imagine how this would play out for, say, NATO forces who need to strike deep in a hypothetical battle to reverse Ru advances in Baltics.

Russian occupation is not peace

"European-led Ukraine air protection plan could halt Russian missile attacks - Sky Shield proposal drawn up by military experts would be operated separately from Nato and deploy 120 fighter jets." @theguardian.com www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...

Europe is far past the point of ‘mending’ ties with the US. If we don’t act as an equal partner in NATO, make Trump work to regain our trust, and demand an apology, we’re doomed to be vassals in a world divided between empires.

Nice hint…

Worth stating simply what’s happening. An American government is launching a full-scope political & economic assault on an ally repelling an ongoing invasion to compel them to terminate martial law, topple their president, hand over minerals to America & accept a ceasefire w/out security guarantees.

Our new leader. The @economist.com has always been staunchly Transatlanticist. We don't say this lightly: "Europe must prepare to be abandoned or extorted. Not to prepare for that could leave Europe vulnerable to Russia and to an increasingly hostile America" www.economist.com/leaders/2025...

Europe must act with urgency and strengthen its defences! Yesterday's proposal by von der Leyen to #ReArm Europe was an important step, but we need to go further. Leaders must take urgent decisions tomorrow!

People tend to forget that about Ford.

Just as I said yesterday….

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

If only words were actions. A genocidal war criminal cannot, must not, and will not be appeased. The only question is whether we stand up to him in Kyiv or in Normandy.

💬 "Just give them the basement, Kevin!" When "peace talks" mean surrender, journalism must fight back. Support Euromaidan Press – because appeasement is never the answer: www.patreon.com/c/euromaidan...

That’s what freedom of speech actually looks like.

Trump has pulled support to Ukraine, Europe must step up! Ukraine’s security is Europe’s security 🇺🇦🇪🇺

With everything going on with #Ukraine, zero attention is paid to #Gaza, where Trump's tactic is the same: speak as outrageously and brutally as he can, pushing lazy countries to take charge, setting the stage for a US retreat. He couldn't care less about what he destroys.

Europe complaining about trump is a Scheißshow. Of course, this behavior is disgraceful, and I applaud Zelensky for not losing his temper, but where’s Europe? What the heck are American backstops? We have the power to help Ukraine liberate Crimea TODAY if only we wanted.

So the major surprise turned out to be the rise of the populist left in Germany 🤔

🇪🇺 promises more defence spending, but orders are still missing. 🇫🇮 155mm artillery producer Patria has been waiting for contracts since last spring. Once contracts arrive, delivery will still take a year: www.euractiv.com/section/defe...

More tanks than roadmaps would probably make Europe more militarised than in ww2, but heck, if that’s what it takes to get more metal and less paper…

I wish European leaders stopped talking about a new world, the return of geostrategic competition or whatever. It's the same world and international politics has always been about power, we just lied to ourselves for a few decades
