To be honest, Tiktok has been showing me a LOT more rage bait videos lately. And I've done well to curate a feed that's mostly nature videos from people's backyards with 12 likes.

Capitalist production is the employer/employee organization of labor. Where a single person may dictate how profit is distributed. Socialist production is employee-directed enterprise, where a democracy of workers may dictate how profit is distributed. Hope this helps.

I mean, a stroke, for one.

How humiliating for these soldiers to go through strict institutional training, traditional military discipline, to be made to march for someone who doesn't respect the institutions, couldn't handle the training, doesn't respect the traditions, and has very little discipline.

Follow the money and see who is pulling the strings. Every election, you can look at this, and see which candidate moved a lot of money, and which candidate moved a lot of people.

I am so very discouraged by how many lives on TikTok I saw, trying to see what was going on first hand, and it's "like comment subscribe" People have no context for what the moment is, too trapped in their own streaming career.

So the standard is being lowered. Internationally, the U.S. took soft control over the middle east. Minor pushback, Iran changed dramatically in response, but the world shrugged, business was good. Russia tested the waters on reclaiming territory, Crimea was annexed, we all shrugged.

We held up a standard, collectively. How things ought to be, our collective agreement. And slowly, people violated that collective agreement to see what would happen. And as it turns out, nothing. There has been no international backlash.

I was using this route all last year, and yeah, maybe they changed it to seasonal, because their website still shows the route, just with no available booking dates. Thank you!

I was so lucky that my dad was selling water filter systems. And I could work for him by jumping out of a moving car to place stakes with water bottles in yards to get him leads. He payed me in the Habbo Cards they sold at CVS. For a moment, I was king.

you do not remove monetary incentive in a democratic workplace. You merely change who decides what's done with the profits.

What is capitalism? Employer/employee. What can we change? Democratic workplace, no longer a dictatorship. Boom, socialism

I guess my assertion is that how much more complicated is human consciousness? At what point of a computer program metaphor do we accurately describe human consciousness?

I'm sorry but this response from them only makes the 9/11 jokes funnier.

But what if as many trans people as possible showed up for this event?

Ambiguous speed limits give cops a huge amount of discretion, the same discretion they will use to target anyone they choose. Signs should reflect this with an enforcement speed, as speed limit signs are more about safety rating than law. So this is a perfect application for automation, yeah.

Sports are an activity for children, it is not that serious when people's human rights are being affected by this "debate".

Check out your local comic book stores, support what's in your community. Even if you don't want to sell to them, I'm sure they could point you towards a local appraiser.

Like the church would ever let him leave even if he tried to, at this point. He's as much a victim of them as any other.

The relationships were the main bit of the show. They gave Steven actual trauma and showed him navigating it. The incredible depth to the characters journeys was more important than the backdrop of the gem wars. But I could see the frustration.

That was an important part of her character and added a lot of depth. She was morally reprehensible, a tyrant playing God. This contrasted excellently against Finn's hero heart, and boyhood crush on her. Your judgement is fair, but I'd argue her role was a net good for the show.

Chemistry was developed from alchemists, they were generally the most advanced scientists of their time. Sir Isaac Newton was both a physicist and an alchemist. But alchemy is more concerned with the inner world than the literal chemistry.

Thank god Goodison Park is getting the Women's team when the Men move over to the new stadium.

It's not like he's the only one who ever performed miracles. Plenty are recorded as having done so, miracles happen every day. The thing with Faith is that it can only be developed through your own experience. You have to practice thaumaturgy yourself and find out what works for You.

Isn't the issue usually more often Literalist interpretation of what are clearly meant to be metaphorical stories? Did Jesus actually walk on water? Or does water symbolize something else in the Bible?

He appreciated the approximation.

Isn't the Catholic Church just the Roman Empire co-opting Jesus' New Wave of spirituality, while softening the anti-imperialism of His message, and then becoming the Roman empire?
