As far as I'm concerned, that store went out of business. When I see their logo outside, it's giving vestigial. We don't need em anymore

VR gamers want good games badly, so in VR, even if you have competition, they're probably small time, and I think you can succeed if your game is good enough.
Tho "success" involves not spending too much money on development, tbh. The market is still too small.

I'm reading this thinking to myself that I might get shot by the real mccoy by reaching for my phone to verify that they weren't a fake.
The only way to win this game is not to play.

I'll never forget it for how crazy it is that there's even a term for it that they use: "mowing the lawn," due to how insane it is as a way to describe what they're doing to those people.
"y'know, just maintaining the status quo with some routine murder as usual"

"Please show one bill she's passed."
Please read the second sentence of the third paragraph from the First Term section I asked you to read 27 minutes ago.
I forgot what folks like you are like online. But if you can do the above then maybe we can continue. I'm curious what you think

Are you so convinced that she hasn't done anything that you refuse to read anything on the page where she lists some of what she's done in Congress?
If so, can you explain why? Is reading difficult for you?

So you didn't read anything from the two sections I mentioned on the page I linked, then? About anything at all? Anything that you, as an American, want but don't have?
Literally anything?
Cause I feel like if you did, you'd say "yeah, I definitely want that" about at least one thing

Can you name one thing you were unaware of that I tried to inform you about from the page I linked, or are you gonna dig in your heels with your fingers in your ears?
Cause there's one huge thing that even you, as an American, have to want, that she has worked hard towards. Right?

You aren't speaking in good faith here, but I'll leave this regardless, just to see how open you are to changing your view when faced with new information. Scroll down to the first term and second term sections and read if you care about having correct analysis

I think no offense has been replaced by respectfully. Like for when you wanna be frank, critical, and it's tough to say any of it without sounding like an asshole.

As an experienced coder, it's a highly effective tool, and maybe half of the new job postings I see involve leveraging it in some way.
But most of how gen AI actually exists in my life is to create various forms of slop where people chose prompting over creativity, and I hate it.

At a previous non-gaming job, I was in a zoom meeting where, during crunch, past midnight local time for all present, someone not on the eng team said "this is great! we should do this every week!"
I immediately said "yes, but you'd have to find a new eng team every time"

When Ian logs into his personal X account, all he sees are people who say that phrase and love it. He had no idea there would be backlash saying it on the company account. The algorithm siloed him.
It's so fascinating to me.

People who say "make _ _ again" in any combination or wear variant hats are not upset that saying/wearing that gets them uninvited from the cookout.
Because being the type of person to say that kinda phrase prevents them from even meeting the person who might have invited them in the first place.

In some of the circles I move in, something I gotta do is hear something I don't like, then grit my teeth and try my best not to visibly react to it, just to prevent a cascade of headaches.
I find that there's a little less need for that in FGC spaces. No red hats, etc.

Marvel Tokon is bittersweet to me. It looks great and pushes the genre forward, and yet without involvement from Capcom, in the wake of MvCI vs DBFZ, it feels like the end of an era. Will we get MvC4 someday? Or has the torch been snatched by Arc Sys?

It got caught up in office politics that locked out F4 and X-Men. And Capcom gave it a shoestring budget.
It was a true collab

I still use the credit union that had ATMs and branches in the building of a former workplace of mine.

Sometimes, they function "on top of" a real bank for things like actually storing your money in an FDIC-protected account.
But you do not get most/any of the real bank's features beyond very basic debit account things, which is the real problem.

Real banks? You just walk into a branch, or make a call. But online banks have no branch, and if they have decent phone reps, they can't do the thing you want. So you're just stuck not being able to use your money the way you thought you could.

I've used 3 or 4 different online banks in my life. Never again. Capcom Unity card, Simple, BankMobile, Aspiration/GreenFi, and one or two others.
Every single time, at some point, I needed to do a banking thing that wasn't in the app, and every time, I ran into severe trouble.

It's not like there was a day the pandemic ended. As I recall, we still had hundreds of covid deaths each week when the numbers suddenly dropped.
Because we stopped counting. And then ended the mask mandates.

What else were you gonna say? That the panelist's visa or whatever was denied due to unknown reasons?
People mad about "safe space" violation should be mad about that before being mad about how you deliver the info
