Pope Leo has chosen “In the One, we are one” as his motto. And his coat of arms features a lily (Trinity, Virgin Mary, virtues of faith, hope, charity) and a closed book (Gospel) and a heart pierced by an arrow, a nod to St. Augustine, “your word has pierced my heart like an arrow”

😍😍😍 Yeeessss!

Mary, the new Eve, is the Mother of Mercy, guiding humanity toward redemption through her Son. As the Ark of the New Covenant, she nurtures believers in grace, just as she cared for Christ. Through her yes, she bridged heaven and earth, offering hope, intercession, and Divine motherhood.

She aks to see pictures of "mommy preachers," and I just want to say thank you to all the clergywomen who are blessing the Church. ⚓️

It’d be great if we could get an AffCath Archbishop of Canterbury like, soon, because I’m going to be Pope-posting until autumn at this point. 🙃

Fr. David (St. Michael & All Angels) & Fr. Dominic (Holy Apostles) in the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona have a podcast I just managed to find somehow… 🙂 Share all other relevant podcasts because I guess I’m like 5 months late. 🤣 TW: they are going through the Articles of Religion 😬

“Even when he was 12 and 13, it was apparent to all of us that he knew what his calling was,” said John Doughney, a classmate of Robert Prevost, now Pope Leo XIV. “It would’ve shocked all of us if he didn’t go into the priesthood. We’re so proud of him.” religionnews.com/2025/05/09/c...

Please pray for my congregation and the Spanish language congregation that shares our space as we get a building inspection today to help us make decisions for the future… Lord, guide the hearts of all those involved so we can be of greater service to you, through service to our neighbors. 🙏🏼

O God of Creation, comfort the heart of Wanda, and Marcus, Ahmad’s parents as they remember his birthday. Be close to all who love and cherish him. Turn our hearts, O Divine Master, to wisdom, that we may see Your Image in all of Your perfectly made children so that we may do justice and love mercy.

Cardinal Prevost speaking on what it means to be a bishop… it’s 🔥

Trad in the ceremonials / progressive in the encyclicals is a well-worn Anglo-Catholic path that for whatever reason is less common among Roman Catholics.

They’ll still say it… and call him a leftist commie something something Chicago’s crime rate… lol

This takes me down memory lane. 🫶🏼 The pandemic was trying and dark time generally but there was a newfound love of simplicity, and this was a highlight.

Happy Thursday! And happy feast, Julian of Norwich, one of my favorite mystics. Her Revelations of Divine Love is truly life changing. 🫶🏼 Morning Prayer Psalm 37:1-18 Evening Prayer Psalm 37:19-42 Office Readings Daniel 5:13-30 1 John 5:13-21 Luke 5:1-11
