Help me, Fountain Pen Sky... I have a new pen and ink combo, but the ink flow is very inconsistent. Pen also seems to drag a bit on the page compared to my TWSBI's that I usually write with. Suggestions for how to proceed? At what point do we accept such quirks as part of the ink or pen?

I don't usually do a muslin when seeing. A few exceptions...I did one of a sleeve to make sure it would pay properly before cutting the silk and we keep a broadcloth of my standard bodice to make it easy to cut me new ones. But 6 yards of silk velvet and a pattern that isn't my own... #sewsky

#showmeyourknits 🧶 Gifts! I give away most knits but this one happens to also be a #wip, albeit slow moving atm. I've made this project half a dozen times, it's my default baby blanket. I let the parents pick their yarn colors. Some alterations to pattern to accommodate the yarn. See Ravelry link.

I've used VA healthcare almost exclusively for 20 years. My health sucks and it's complicated but I wouldn't trust the civilian system anywhere near it. This is a great op-ed as to why. Individual Vets have had bad experiences, it's true...but show me a civilian who has 100% good experiences. #va
