Idk why it be like that, but my whole family is off the Apple and Samsung ship, which makes our phones cost only $280-330 and we haven't felt any "experience" lacking in our daily lives with those mid range phones.
How are things so expensive that it can cost an entire phone's budget?

Well the advantage of Spain is that a lot of regions do actively speak English too. So making dual-langauge dialects would be convenient. And the Spaniards are a happy breed of humans, so they wouldn't mind if I made grammatical errors either 🤪
