It’s been the Monday the last few years (11/3/24 & 13/3/23) but yeah it has been announced on the Tuesday in the past too.

Perhaps, but I think 🇦🇹 will perform much better with the public than people think.
The last few years has shown the public really respond to ‘high quality’ songs (e.g Barbara, Sam, Loreen, Nemo, Slimane), as well as the obvious tele magnets.
~200 TV points could do it with jury landslide.

Not sure I see a world where it finishes above Austria 🇦🇹 to be honest, but it’s certainly not impossible.
Truthfully, I just can’t see Eurovision juries being quite as generous as the Melfest ones, but who knows! Will be a key piece to the puzzle.

Oh yeah for sure - should have worded it better. Meant it in the sense that they might get some complaints from 🇮🇱 and some bad press if it’s as obvious as last year, considering it’s a stronger entry.
But the relief, internally, will definitely come above all of that.

My guess will be they respect it more than they did Hurricane - in part because it’s…well, better - but probably not as much as they ‘should.’

Seems like the obvious opportunity to announce any changes to the presentation of semi-final results - if they’re actually going ahead with that.

🔘 How many tele points will 🇺🇦🇮🇱 get? Much harder to get tele points this year than last.
🔘 Will ‘calmer’ entries 🇨🇿🇮🇹🇳🇱 cut through the noise and do really well with both juries and tele?

I think you’ve probably just described most Eurovision songs though in fairness. I don’t think something that sounds a little dated is bad, necessarily.
His performance and stage presence make up for the deficiencies in the song, imo.

I think you have to look at the opposition first. Who, realistically, would actually finish above Måns?
I think JJ 🇦🇹 would, so I don’t think Måns will win Eurovision. But Claude 🇳🇱 wouldn’t finish above him, Erika 🇫🇮 probably wouldn’t, 🇺🇦🇮🇱🇪🇪🇨🇿 wouldn’t. Quickly running out of challengers 🤷♂️
